candataextract.com is a static website. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Your browser stores your light or dark theme choice locally; it is never sent to us. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which logs IP addresses for security purposes. TODO: confirm hosting and any analytics before publishing
CAN Data Extract accounts
When you sign in to app.candataextract.com we process:
- Your name and email address from Google, Microsoft Entra ID or the account you create.
- Session and device data needed to keep you signed in.
- The traces, transforms, collections and simulator configs you upload or create.

Traces and vehicle data
Traces can contain a vehicle identification number (VIN), which may be personal data when it can be linked to a person. Who can see your traces depends on your plan; see the terms of service and pricing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Write to sales@candataextract.com. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
